Logistics Services Consultant

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Services Consultant to lead our IT & Logistics Department. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both IT and logistics operations, with a deep understanding of U.S. compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the IT & Logistics Department, ensuring the seamless delivery of services.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, DOT, ITAR).
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve service efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of IT solutions with logistics processes, including supply chain, transportation, and inventory management.
• Monitor and manage logistics processes such as warehousing, shipping, and distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Track KPIs to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards, including those mandated by the law.
• Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that impact both IT and logistics.
• Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively while ensuring minimal disruption to services.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in operations and compliance management, with a focus on logistics and IT.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. regulatory standards, including OSHA, DOT, and ITAR compliance.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and optimize operational processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
